Who we are and how to contact us

https://serpc.forcemanagementsystem.com is a site operated by South Eastern RPC (Us/We). Please see our Privacy Notice for ways to contact us, including by webform, Discord server and email. The site is provided to us as a hosted service by Albo1125 (click for Discord server contact).

By using our site you accept these terms

By using our site, you confirm that you accept these terms of service and that you agree to comply with them. You are also required to accept these terms using a checkbox when you sign up for an account. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our site.

These terms, their subject matter and their formation are governed by English law.

We amend these terms from time to time. Every time you wish to use our site, please check these terms to ensure you understand the terms that apply at that time. These terms were most recently updated on 20 December 2024.

Uploading or posting content to our site

TL;DR: You irrevocably agree to allow us and Albo1125 to permanently use any content you upload or post to our site for our own purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, any form JSON, fleet vehicles, callsigns, street names, configuration, form submissions etc.

Our site may include information and materials uploaded by other users. This information and these materials have not been verified or approved by us. The views expressed by other users on our site do not necessarily represent our views or values.

Whenever you make use of a feature that allows you to create content directly on our site, upload, post or share content to our site, or to make contact with other users of our site, you must comply with the standards set out in our Rules and any other of our policies. It must also comply with all applicable UK laws and must therefore not, for example, be defamatory, menacing or grossly offensive. We have the right to remove any posting you make on our site if, in our opinion, your post does not comply with these standards.

You warrant that any such contribution complies with those standards and that you have the relevant rights to upload or post the content, and you are liable to us and Albo1125 and indemnify us and Albo1125 for any breach of that warranty. This means you will be responsible for any loss or damage we or Albo1125 suffer as a result of your breach of warranty. We and Albo1125 also have the right to disclose your identity to anyone who is claiming that any content posted or uploaded by you to our site violates their intellectual property rights or their right to privacy.

We and Albo1125 will consider any content you upload to our site to be unprotected by any trade mark, patent or copyright ("non-proprietary"). You own your content, but you are required to grant us, Albo1125 and other users of our site a licence to use, store and copy that content and to distribute and make it available to others. The rights you license to us and Albo1125 are described as follows.

Rights you are giving us to use material you upload

When you upload or post content to our site, or provide content for us to upload or post to our site, you grant us and Albo1125 the following rights to use that content:

  • A permanent, irrevocable, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable licence to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform that content in connection with the service provided by the website and across different media.

This term can only be varied in writing between you and us on an individual basis. This means that, if you wish to attach any conditions to our licence to use your content, you must agree this beforehand in writing with the community owner and keep clear evidence of this agreement. Any such agreement only applies to us and does not apply to Albo1125.

We may make changes to our site

We may update and change our site from time to time. We do not guarantee that our site, or any content on it, will always be available or be uninterrupted. We may suspend or withdraw or restrict the availability of all or any part of our site. You are also responsible for ensuring that all persons who access our site through your internet connection are aware of these terms of service and other applicable terms of service, and that they comply with them.

We may transfer this agreement to someone else

We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation. We will ensure that the transfer will not affect your rights under the contract.

You must keep your account details safe

If you choose, or you are provided with, a user identification code, login email, password or any other piece of information as part of our security procedures, you must treat such information as confidential. You must not disclose it to any third party. We have the right to disable any user account, identification code or password, whether chosen by you or allocated by us, at any time, if in our reasonable opinion you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these terms of service. If you know or suspect that anyone other than you knows your user identification code or password, you must promptly change your password through your profile and notify us.

You must not maliciously use our site

You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our site, the server on which our site is stored or any server, computer or database connected to our site or any other equipment or network connected with our site. If you find any bugs that you suspect may enable you to gain unauthorised access to any area of our site, you must immediately report this to us and Albo1125 so this can be fixed. You must not misuse our site by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful, or otherwise harmfully interacting with or attacking our site or any part of it. You must not interfere with, damage or disrupt any software used in the provision of our site or any equipment or network or software owned or used by any third party on which this site relies in any way. By breaching this provision, you would commit a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. In the event of such a breach, your right to use our site will cease immediately.

Our responsibility for loss or damage suffered by you

We and Albo1125 exclude all implied conditions, warranties, representations or other terms that may apply to our site or any content on it.

We and Albo1125 will not be liable to you for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, even if foreseeable, arising under or in connection with any use of, or inability to use, our site, except where and to the extent that statute bars such exclusion of liability.

How we protect you from illegal content

We minimise the length of time for which terrorism, CSEA and other priority illegal content is present on the site by ensuring that we have moderators and administrators who have permissions to monitor and remove all user content. Almost all user content that can be posted is also more widely visible to normal community members, who can also report such content to more senior members for consideration of removal. We have clear rules, member policies and report processes in place to ensure members can raise concerns about illegal content swiftly. We will swiftly take down such illegal content when we find out about it.

Reporting illegal content and certain actions

You can complain to us about the following issues in the context of our site:

  • Content you consider to be illegal. Please note that this would not normally include content that is entered purely for emergency service roleplaying purposes, such as CAD comments about in-game roleplay incidents, unless they are being abused for genuine illegal purposes outside of roleplay.
  • When you think we are not dealing with illegal content or activity as we should.
  • Where you think our content reporting systems and processes do not easily let users report content they believe to be illegal and content they believe to be harmful to children and that is accessible to children.
  • When you think we have insufficiently considered the importance of protecting users' rights to freedom of expression or privacy.
  • Where your content has been taken down on the basis that it is illegal.
  • Where we have given you a warning, suspended, banned or restricted you in any way as a result of your content which we consider to be illegal content.
  • Technology we use results in your content being taken down, access-restricted or deprioritised and you think the technology has been used in a way not set out in our terms of service.

You can report illegal content or complain about the above actions through our Report Illegal Content and Certain Actions Form (coming soon). Alternatively, you can use one of our other report or complaint forms or processes. You can also contact our administration team through our Discord server.

We deal with reports in accordance with our terms of service, which incorporate our rules, member policies and any rules posted in our Discord, TeamSpeak, FiveM and other servers. For types of reports that fall outside the scope of our rules and policies, our team of administrators will assess and respond to your report within 14 days.

If we restrict access to any content you generate or upload to or share on our service in a way that breaches the terms of service, or if we suspend or ban you from using our service in a way that breaches these terms of service, you have the right to seek a remedy for a breach of these terms.

Complaints

If you wish to complain about us or our site, please contact us in the first instance so we can resolve your concern. You can do so through our usual member communication channels or our public Discord server.

If you cannot resolve your concern with us, we also offer free mediation and a report service through Albo1125. If your complaint fits the criteria for Albo1125 to consider (for example, because your intellectual property rights are being violated by us), you may then contact Albo1125 with your concern about us, including sufficient evidence to support your complaint. You can find more information and contact Albo1125 via his Discord server in the FMS #reports-complaints channel.
